Description

Gloucester County Council and HoardingUK are inviting you to attend launch event for the six countywide Gloucestershire hoarding care and support groups (Alphabetically: Cirencester, Cheltenham, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Stroud and Tewskbury).

Representative teams who have formed the core group within the initiative include (Alphabetically) the Enablement Team, Fire Service, Guinness Housing, Happy Homes Support, HoardingUK and Private Sector Housing and Environmental Health.

For the last year, the team has worked to train the Enablement Team to deliver the hoarding care and support groups ensuring that they will be sustainable. The Fire Service has partnered to fund the hoarding care and support groups.

Alongside this Private Sector Housing and Environmental Health, has funded practical support which has been integrated with psychological support funded by Guinness.

The team is coming together to talk about the challenges and successes resulted from this multi-disciplinary coordinated programme.

The day is free to attend. There will be presentations along with questions and answers.
